Bengal Cats

What are bengals?

Bengal cats are a cross between the Asian Leopard cat and a domestic cat. Bengals inherited a strong character from their wild ancestors, but are known for their friendly and playful nature. They are very social and intelligent, and are a striking combination of a wildlife independence and fondness. Bengals are not like an average lazy cat. They are very intelligent, playful, vocal, and curious cats but they each have their own personalities. They need lots of attention and toys to keep their brains occupied. Bengals are infatuated with water and love to play like a puppy with balls and sticks. They are highly adaptable to other non aggressive animals and are very people oriented in their social behavior. One of the unique traits of the Bengal breed inherited from the Asian Leopard Bengal is a stage of development called " The Bengal Fuzzy" stage.  Like a baby cub in the wild, Bengal kittens develop fuzzy guard hairs that camouflage them that was intended to guard them from predators in the wild. Bengals are also hypoallergenic!

Their Look

Bengals have two types of fur patterns: spotted rosettes or marbled look.

Male Bengal cats (kings) are muscular and usually weigh between 12 to 18 lbs.

Female bengal cats (queens) are lean and weigh between 7 to 12 lbs. Our kittens are little walking pieces of art.

Their Personality

Bengal cats are FAR from your average laid-back house cat. They're known for their energetic and playful personalities. They are highly active, often displaying a love for climbing, jumping, and exploring their environment. Bengals are also exceptionally curious and intelligent, often figuring out how to open doors and cupboards or play interactive games. They are social cats that can form strong bonds with their owners, showing affection in their unique ways. Bengals tend to be more vocal than many other cat breeds, using a variety of sounds to communicate their needs and moods. Their playful and adventurous nature makes them engaging and entertaining pets.
