Shinisaurus Crocodilurus: (Chinese Crocodile Lizard)


The semiaquatic Chinese crocodile lizard is found only in China and Vietnam. It is gray-brown with red-orange markings along its throat and sides. Two rigid rows of scales along its tail give this reptile a crocodilian appearance.

Their Diet

​

In captivity shinisaurus thrive on a variety of food options. A staple diet consisting of worms, roaches, crickets and snails keep them happy!

Their Habitat

​

There are perhaps no more than 1,000 individuals of the Endangered Chinese crocodile lizard — which is found in southern China and northern Vietnam — remaining in the wild today.

Abronia Lythrochila: (Red Lobbed Arboreal Alligator Lizard)

​

These lizards can reach a length of about 7 – 11 Inches. The basic body colour is greenish-olive, with irregular dark blotches. They show spiny horn-like scales on each sides of the head, The infralabials are blood-red (hence the common name).

Their Diet

​

Abronia lythrochila will feed on a variety of insects and invertebrates such as crickets, dubia roaches, earth worms, snails and grass hoppers.

Their Habitat

​

This species lives in montane dry pine-oak forest, at an elevation of 2000–3000 m. It has a relatively small range but it is common there.

Saltuarius Kateae: (Mount Marsh Leaf-Tailed Gecko)

​

Endemic to the southern end of the Richmond Range in New South Wales; this species is known for being very social, with findings of up to 20 individuals living within one tree hallow. S. Kateae is a nocturnal species that is rock dwelling.

Their Diet

​

S. Kateae is an insectivore that thrives on a well balanced diet. We feed ours: Dubia roaches, dusted crickets, meal worms, earthworms and  super worms.

Lepidodactylus Lugubris: (Mourning Gecko)


Mourning geckos are very small, arboreal geckos that are widely distributed throughout tropical forests of the South Pacific, Hawaii, and Central and South America. They have an omnivorous diet of fruit and insects, and are irregularly active both at night and during the day

Their Diet

​

Mourning geckos are omnivores, eating mainly fruit and insects in the wild. Supplement-dusted and gut-loaded fruit flies, pinhead-0.25 in. crickets, and extra small dubia roaches all make suitable feeders.

Their Habitat

​

Mourning Geckos are an arboreal species, requiring an enclosure with emphasis on height over width. The specifics of an enclosure will depend heavily on the age of the Gecko being cared for.
